South Middle School Intramurals

 South Middle School offers an Intramural Program for any student who wants to join.  The program purpose is to:

-To provide healthy activities for recreational purposes.
To stimulate an interest in “getting involved” at school and to “be a part of something”.  

-To provide an opportunity to learn the value of sportsmanship & cooperation.

-To provide an opportunity to make social contacts and friendships outside of the classroom.

-To get our school involved more with the community.

It is offered 4 times a year (once a quarter) for six-eight weeks at a time on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Activity choices vary per quarter.  It runs from 2:45pm. - 3:45pm. Students will need to be picked up at 3:45 at whatever location he/she is at the time.

Students will need to fill out a registration packet each quarter.  We have limited space available so they will need to return packets promptly. Parents will be notified ONLY if your child DOES NOT make it in for the quarter.  We will have a meeting on a day during advisory a week before each quarter to go over activities and distribute packets.
