First Club Day at SMS!

Aug 29th was the first day of clubs at South Middle

The first day of clubs at South Middle School was a great success, with students having a lot of fun exploring a variety of activities. For 6th graders, popular options included the YouTube Trivia Games Club, Board Games/Puzzles, Just Dance, and Walk and Talk. Seventh graders enjoyed clubs like Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese Pizza, Sharpie coloring, and Board games/card games. Eighth graders had a blast in clubs such as Uno, Perler/Coloring, and ESPN/Fantasy Sports League.

Many students across all three grades also participated in Knockout and Book Club. The Knockout Club took place in the gyms, with different gyms designated for each grade level. The Book Club, led by Mrs. Kay-Higgins, met in the Library. Another popular club, FCA, was a hit with both 7th and 8th graders in the Commons. The Walk and Talk club was also a success for students in all three grades, with different teachers leading the groups. The first day of clubs proved to be an exciting and fun time for students to connect with their peers and discover new interests.
