8th Graders Enjoy a Slow Coaster Science Activity

Students in eighth grade science intentionally built a coaster that is slow – not fast! They ran time trials using a ping pong ball as a guide and while the lesson is not as easy as it may sound, it proved to be a fun activity. The activity tied into a science unit on motion and momentum. Great job students!
